Our alpaca business began in 1993 with three female alpacas. We have continually refined our breeding goals as we have gained experience and as the industry has matured. Our herd is comprised of primarily black, gray and fawn alpacas.

We take small amounts of fiber from each fiber artist and process that fiber to each customers needs. We use a very specific 10 step process to produce the best yarn possible. At DVA Fiber Mill, we process our raw fiber through several stages. First, we scour each fleece using gentle biodegradable detergents. After drying, the fiber passes through the Picker to open up large non-processable clumps.
